My Son’s Arrival

Summer is here and that means big life changes for the two young mates…

While I’ve settled into a pretty good routine in these last months, between work, classes and spending time with Seb, I know that his life has been one big rollercoaster.
But with his final essays and exams in the coming weeks, things should get easier for a while. A short while. A very short while… Because our baby will be born soon, throwing our lives for another loop.
Are we ready?

It feels like everything that has happened in the last nine months has been leading up to this moment. It starts with my final essays and exams, then I’ll have to pack up everything at the apartment to officially, fully, move in with Destin and then our little boy will be born.
Looking at that list, thinking of everything involved, I feel like I’m not ready. But I’ll just have to face it, because there’s no going back, these things are happening and will happen, no matter if I want them or not.
Luckily, I’ve got Destin and our families to help out. Now, I just have to convince myself that I’m ready. Is anyone ever ready?
