Because I don’t have enough to work on already… I recently started a new side-project. Usually, these are my YA books, like my Flowers and Keyboards series as Emmy Engberts or the BASE Status series as E. Engberts, but this time, I just had to write this story. Of course, I’m still fully into my current ‘main project’ serial, which is Guarding Their Dragon Mate as Layla Heart, but after I started rereading The Baby Pact, I desperately wanted to write a series that was more similar to that, more family struggles than ‘if we fail thousands of people might die’ kind of struggles (which is what Lughnasadh Elite Academy and also Guarding Their Dragon Mate, which plays in the same world, are much more like).

So, yes, this takes place in the same world as The Baby Pact Trilogy, but it’s totally separate from it, there’s no overlap between the two series. Apart from some worldbuilding elements, which is why I chose it, because why create a totally brand new world when I’ve got a perfectly good one to play in. And this type of story is simply not possible in the world that Lughnasadh Elite Academy or Guarding Their Dragon Mates takes place in BECAUSE… This is an Omegaverse story. YES! I’m writing Omegaverse again, only this time it’s Reverse Harem. One Omega girl and four sexy Alpha guys. I’m super into it and I’m really really excited about it (and what I’ve seen already, I’m not the only one ;) ).

The story is currently only available on Radish, where it will update twice or three times a week (depending on how many chapters I’ve got lined up to release). As with my YA stories, this story will first be posted online (this time only on Radish since things can get steamy and Tapas isn’t the greatest fan of that ;) ), and then later be published as books. This story might change title along the way, probably, but for now, this is the working title.

After that long ramble, here is the story!!

Her Shifter Harem’s Babies

Cyra, a rare Omega phoenix shifter, has had a rough week, to say the least.

First two Alphas, a hydra and a griffin, start showing up at the cafe she works at, their eyes constantly following her. And then she accidentally accepts to play princess at a spoiled shifter kid’s birthday party, where her crappy old car promptly breaks down, leaving two other Alphas, a cerberus and a centaur, to save the day and drive her home.

For years, Cyra has managed to hide herself, pretend she’s human, because she doesn’t want her parents to marry her off to some rich asshole Alpha for money and status or to be kidnapped and bred like what has happened to other rare Omega shifters. She wants her freedom, to be able to make her own choices, both are taken away the moment she’s mated. She’ll become property, not a person, and she refuses to live like that.

But now everything she’s worked for so hard is in danger, money is tight, and with her crappy car, she won’t be able to afford her meds to survive the next mating season single and childless. Especially not when those Alphas keep showing up everywhere…
